Summer Gin Cocktails

Bright and breezy, our Summer Gin dances with citrus in cocktails that capture the essence of a Steamboat Springs summer. The Gimlet is a must-try—its zesty simplicity is irresistible.

Gimlet

  • 2 oz Summer Gin
  • 3/4 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Gin & Tonic

  • 2 oz Summer Gin
  • 4 oz tonic water (adjust to taste)

Fill a highball glass with ice, pour in the gin, and top with tonic water. Stir gently and garnish with a citrus slice of your choice. Play around with different tonics and ratios—we like the 1:2 gin-to-tonic ratio.

Winter Gin Cocktails

Cozy up with our Winter Gin, where warming spices meet a rare harmony with bitters. The Fitzgerald, an overlooked classic, finds its perfect match here—our version cuts the sugar for a balanced sip that other gins can’t pull off. It’s one of our absolute favorites.

Fitzgerald

  • 2 oz Winter Gin
  • 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled coupe glass.

Martini

  • 2 oz Winter Gin
  • 0.5 oz dry vermouth (or 1 oz Dolin Blanc vermouth for a richer twist)

Stir gin and vermouth with ice in a mixing glass until well-chilled. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a lemon twist or olive.

Our Sarvis Gin is delicious neat over a big ice cube, but the Sarvis Gin Fizz brings the berry flavors to the forefront with carbonation and acidity.

Pour over a large ice cube in a rocks glass and enjoy.

Sarvis Gin Fizz

  • 2 oz Sarvis Gin

Emerald Single Malt Highball

Pretty dang good served neat, but also works fantastic in a Japanese Whiskey Highball. The ratio is key—too much sparkling water makes it whiskey-flavored water, too little and it’s just watered-down whiskey. We like 1 part Emerald Mountain Single Malt Whiskey to 3 parts sparkling water but experiment from 1:2 to 1:4. Think this is crazy for whiskey and water? Japanese Whiskey Highball

  • 2 oz Emerald Mountain Single Malt Whiskey
  • 6 oz very bubbly, cold sparkling water
  • Citrus peel (for garnish)

Build in a chilled highball glass with large ice cubes: pour whiskey, top with very bubbly, cold sparkling water, and stir vertically to mix. Garnish with a citrus peel of your choice. Cold is key—use the coldest glass and water you can get.
